Lunada Bay Little League Ups Reward for Burglary Info to Over $2K

The league is now offering $2,500 for information that could lead police to burglars who broke into its snack shack and equipment shed Saturday night.

The Lunada Bay Little League is now offering a $2,500 reward for information that could lead police to thieves who broke into its Palos Verdes Estates snack shack and equipment shed Saturday night and took off with electronics and an all-terrain vehicle.

Originally $500, members of the community provided donations to the league and increased the reward amount, league President Steve Gherardi said in an email.

"The great news so far is how this community has come together from this event," he said. "If nothing else from this horrible theft, it's nice to see how this community will stand behind us and the kids of Lunada Bay Little League."
