Have Unused Prescription Drugs? Get Rid of Them Saturday

There are locations in the South Bay and in Palos Verdes for residents to dispose of unused prescription drugs.

South Bay residents can take their unused and unwanted prescription drugs to various locations throughout the area Saturday as part of the federal Drug Enforcement Administration's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

Those who want to drop off prescription drugs can visit these locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The day is meant to address "a vital public safety and public health issue," according to the Take Back website.
