Former Laker's Championship Rings Stolen

The rings were reported stolen from the Palos Verdes Estates home of former Lakers star A.C. Green.

Former Los Angeles Lakers star A.C. Green reported on March 20 that three of his NBA championship rings were stolen from his Palos Verdes Estates house, according to local police.

The former basketball professional won one ring in 1987 and another in 2000. He received the third ring in 2009 when he was retired, according to the Daily Breeze.

"They are worth a lot of money, especially to somebody who is a collector," Palos Verdes Estates police Sgt. Steve Barber told reporter Larry Altman. "It's going to be really difficult for somebody to pawn it off."
