Fire Department Drills to Start Saturday in PV
The Los Angeles County Fire Department will conduct the drills Saturday through Monday.
Palos Verdes residents who notice throngs of fire engines on the roads and helicopters in the sky this weekend shouldn't be alarmed, they're all part of drills planned by the .
The drills, which will run Saturday through Monday, involve helicopter landings and flyovers at the Upper Point Vicente Park/Civic Center, in addition to 15 fire engines traveling to and from the property.
Helicopter activity is expected to occur 9-11 a.m. on each of the days. The helicopters will simulate water drops.
