Detectives Unsure if Missing RPV Woman Still in Area

Joan Leffler was last seen at her Rancho Palos Verdes home Monday evening.

Detectives for a missing Rancho Palos Verdes woman, saying they were still unsure of her whereabouts.

Detective Tamar Abraham said she had "no clue" if 67-year-old Joan Leffler was still in Rancho Palos Verdes.

Calls were made to Leffler's family today, Abraham said.

Leffler, who suffers from anxiety and depression, was last seen at 8:30 p.m. Monday at her home in the 19000 block of Western Avenue.

She is white, 200 pounds and 5 feet 6 inches tall. She has some scarring from a surgery on her stomach and eyeliner tattoo on both eyes.

Leffler was last seen wearing a beige shirt and black pants.
