Car Plunges off Cliffs in Palos Verdes Estates, Driver Killed
The car crashed over cliffs just after 10 a.m. this morning.
A car crashed over oceanfront cliffs in Palos Verdes Estates this morning, ejecting the driver who was found dead some 200 feet from the vehicle, authorities said.
The car went over a cliff near Palos Verdes Drive West and Paseo Del Mar
about 10:10 a.m., county fire Inspector Matt Levesque said.
Firefighters found the vehicle about 35 feet down the embankment, the body abut 250 feet down the embankment, Levesque said.

Authorities said it was not immediately clear whether the death was an accident or suicide.
