RPV Brush Fire '100 Percent Contained'

A brush fire reported near Highridge and Indian Peak roads in Rancho Palos Verdes is 100 percent contained with no active flames, according to representative of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The fire—described as a "small brush fire"—was located in the 5600 block of Ravensburg Drive, according to the fire department.

Patch reader April Berube said the fire was extinguished by an alert homeowner with a hose.

There were no road closures; however, an alert from RPV city staff advised drivers to exercise caution.
