Bike Stolen? Call Manhattan Beach Cops

Manhattan Beach police might have found your property if it went missing in the South Bay this month.

Any Palos Verdes residents who had bicycles or other property stolen earlier this month should call Manhattan Beach police, officers urged Monday.

Police recovered a half dozen bikes and some other items earlier in the month during an investigation that resulted in four arrests. They are now encouraging people in the South Bay who have had items stolen to contact detectives.

On Aug. 2, police stopped a pickup truck containing six stolen bicycles, along with other undisclosed items of stolen property, said Stephanie Martin of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
