The Palos Verdes Peninsula 4-H Club participated the South San Gabriel Valley 4-H Fair this past Saturday, April 27, 2013 in Chino, CA. The whole days events was a fun-filled acitivity based 4-H Fair showing the collective arts & works from it 4-H members throughout the program year in projects such as: Arts & Crafts, Electricity, Small Livestock, Large Livestock, Home Economica, Beginning 4-H, Dog Care, Cavies, Shooting Sports, Primary 4-H, Baked Goods, Horses, Woodworking, Surfing, Photography and more.
The club came home after many of its members winning Judge's Choice, Special Merit Awards, and many ribbons. Additionally, the club the came home with winning 26 out of 32 project trophys which include:Rocketry, Baked Goods for Auction, Beekeeping, Cavies, Clothing, Computers, Dog Care, Eggs, Electricity, Foods & Nutrition, Graphic Arts, Guide Dogs, Heritage Arts, Horses, Leathercraft, Marine Biology, Ornamental Horticultural, Pets & Small Animals, Plant Science, Photography, Poultry, Goats, Rabbits, Sports, Trees, Plants & Flowers.
