OBIT: Linda Mendelson, Head of Lower Schools at RH Country Day School
She had been a part of the school for more than 30 years.
Linda Mendelson, head of the lower schools at Rolling Hills Country Day School, passed away on Saturday.
According to a notice on the private school’s website, her death followed a long struggle with cancer.
“Linda had been a central part of Country Day School for over 30 years,” said a school official in a letter to city officials in Rolling Hills Estates. “Linda was extremely well respected and loved by many in the community.”

A private memorial service is planned for Saturday.
