Restaurants Offer Free Halloween Treats

See which eateries in Palos Verdes are giving away treats for free!

Sure, Halloween is all about free candy for the kiddies, but various eateries are also offering free or discounted goodies on Thursday.

Here are the deals we found. If you know of others, be sure to share them in the comments section! 

IHOP29403 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes: Kids 12 years and younger get a free scary face pancake at participating locations. The Scary Face pancake comes with one of IHOP restaurant’s world famous buttermilk pancakes, a whipped topping mouth, a glazed strawberry nose and a set of delicious decorations: two mini-Oreo cookies to create eyes  and eight pieces of candy corn to add teeth or fangs.

Jamba JuicePromenade on the Peninsula, Rolling Hills Estates; 924 N. Western Ave., San Pedro: Participating Jamba Juice stores are offering a free smoothie to children 8 and younger from 2 to 7 p.m. on Halloween. Find participating stores here

Chipotle
, 940 S. Western Ave., San Pedro: Score a burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos for $3 when you come in dressed in costume from 4 p.m. to close on Halloween. All proceeds up to $1,000,000 will benefit the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation, which works to create a more sustainable and healthy food supply and raises awareness about revitalizing independent family farms, humane and responsible animal husbandry, and food, cooking and nutrition education.

Krispy Kreme: Get a free doughnut when you wear yourHalloween costume into a participating store (find participating locations here).

Wendy's: Wendy's is selling a book of 10 coupons for free frosties for $1. Sales benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, which helps children in foster care find permanent homes.
