Weather-Based Irrigation Controller Exchange

Worry-free watering! With a weather-based irrigation controller, you can reduce outdoor water use by up to 30%, improved the health and beauty of your landscape and protect our oceans by reducing runoff, and save up to 40 gallons of water per day. Receive a free Weather-Based Irrigation Controller (WBIC) in 3 easy steps: 1) Call the South Bay Environmental Services Center to register: 310-371-4633; 2) Bring your old sprinkler controller and water bill to the Exchange; 3) Attend a quick 20 minute orientation and receive your new WBIC.

Eligibility: the home must be located in West Basin's service area and you must have a non-weather-based irrigation controller to exchange. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!

When registering, please have the following information available: Water Company name and account number; manufacturer and model of type of controller exchanging; indoor or outdoor; # of stations; # of controllers to exchange.
