Palos Verdes Library District proudly presents a performance by Zhena Folk Chorus

Let Zhena Folk Chorus transport you to the villages of Central and
Eastern Europe and beyond.  The women of
Zhena are dedicated to preserving and presenting the folk songs of Bosnia,
Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and
Ukraine. 

Come explore the intricate rhythms, enchanting harmonies, and primal
themes of this joyous music.  A Zhena concert
is a complete village experience with colorful authentic costumes, a lavish
variety of music from early traditions to touch your heart, and an engaging
story-like narrative.
