This seminar open to all community members, including parents and grandparents, gives critical information and guidance.  Two of Palos Verdes Peninsula USD's highly-regarded Safe School Counselors** help explain the new dangers, and most importantly, preventive steps that can be taken for the growing number of children of all ages with access to smart phones and other devices. 

Lisa Larson with Miraleste Intermediate School and Jesse Allen with Ridgecrest Intermediate School  will provide invaluable information that can help protect your children from potential online dangers, including cyber bullying, over-sharing and inappropriate material.

  • Latest apps that students use and their pros and cons
  • Update on law that affect what students say or do on the internet
  • Online sources for parents for statistics and safety guidelines
