Great March for Climate Action -- Kickoff & Rally

Join together for the largest coast-to-coast climate march in American history!


Why? Because “Climate Change is Personal!”

On Saturday, March 1, at 9:00 a.m. (8:30 a.m. press briefing), join hundreds of your fellow Southern Californians to help kick off the Great March for Climate Action. This coast to coast march will start in the Port of Los Angeles, with hundreds continuing to march 3,000 miles to Washington D.C. to deliver the message that we need immediate legislative and executive action to solve the climate crisis.

When: Saturday, March 1st 
Rally Location: Wilmington Waterfront Park, Wilmington, CA (Los Angeles Harbor -- "C" Street)
March Destination & Closing Ceremony: Los Angeles Exposition Park area (details to come)

~SCHEDULE ~
Sunrise - Native American Sunrise Ceremony (all are welcome)
8:30 am - Press Briefing 
9:00 am - Rally 
10:00 am - March 
10:40 am - Climate Action Fair & Kids activities at Wilmington Athletic Complex located at 1650 Figueroa Blvd., Wilmington, CA (about 2.5 miles into the march for those that would prefer to walk a shorter distance.)
March Duration: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
6:00/6:30 pm - Hour long closing ceremony with Native American drums
