Linda Community Center for a FREE fun-filled afternoon as we celebrate
the re-opening of the our local treasure, the Discovery Room!
Highlights
will include The Los Serenos docent discussions about the expanded
educational exhibits, arts and crafts for kids, a small petting zoo, a
food truck, a nature walk in the Preserve, The Los Serenos
Docent and Junior Docent Programs, the MRCA Park Ranger and Junior
Ranger Programs, and information about Ladera Linda classes!
The Los
Serenos Docents will share information about the local plants, animals,
and geology of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, a sneak peek of what you
might see on a hike in the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve.
This is a wonderful opportunity for youth groups and nature lovers to
learn about this local resource and to learn about the docent volunteer
programs and ranger programs.
