RHP CPK Fundraiser

San Pedro, California-November 8, 2012- For the 5th straight year, Rolling Hills Prep School (RHP) and Renaissance School will be displaying impressive artwork in the CPK Fundraiser and Art Show. Using paint and mixed media, participating student artists have recreated and reimagined famous works of art, from sources such as Jackson Pollock and Sandro Boticelli, on pizza boxes.

The resulting art show and fundraiser will take place on Wednesday, November 14 between 11:00AM – 9:00PM at the CPK located at 25304 Crenshaw Blvd. in Torrance within the Rolling Hills Plaza.  The RHP flyer will initiate a donation of 20% of the CPK bill towards RHP and Renaissance fine arts.

RHP Arts Teacher Deborah Gelbart who has overseen the RHP CPK Art Show since its inception stated: “Our students never cease to amaze me. They approach the canvas—in this case a pizza box  —with enthusiasm and boundless creativity. This sampling demonstrates that you are in for a visual treat as well as tasty pizza.”
