Classical Music Series 2013 featuring Andrea Casarrubios, cello, and Jasmine Nagano, piano

The Classical Music Series brings great music into the library, featuring emerging young musicians from around Southern California.

Andrea Casarrubios, a native of Spain, began her cello studies at age 5. She  is now a master’s student of Ralph Kirshbaum at USC. Andrea has won prizes at international
competitions, and also maintains an active performance schedule in Europe and the U.S., both as a
soloist and as a member of “Trio Appassionata.”

Jasmine Nagano was born in Hawaii and began studying piano at age 7. Her participation in international festivals and master classes with acclaimed artists has nurtured her deep interest in chamber music performance. Currently, she is a master’s student at USC in Keyboard Collaborative Arts.

Andrea and Jasmine share a passion for collaborative performance, and it’s a pleasure to bring their
artistry to the Palos Verdes community!
