Community Corner

Community Fun Day

St. Luke's Presbyterian Church is hosting a free
community fun day on Saturday, April 19 from 10 am to noon. There will be crafts, games, and a jumper
house with a slide, as well as an Easter Egg Hunt. The children will learn that
they will find, if they seek, and will be rewarded with wonderful goodies as
they open the eggs. A healthy light brunch will be served. This is truly a
diverse and non-sectarian event open to all; among those receiving fliers are
the Rolling Hills Montessori School, Heritage School, Harbor Interfaith
Services, Toberman Neighborhood Center, and the Torrance and Long Beach
Departments of Child and Family Services. While this event was designed to
provide an enjoyable morning for everyone, it is hoped that it may lead to
future opportunities to enrich the lives of children currently receiving
social-service benefits. St. Luke's is located at 26825 Rolling Hills Road,
Rolling Hills Estates CA 90274. For more information call (310) 377-2825 (Monday
through Friday between 9 am and 1 pm) or go to
