PALOS VERDES PENINSULA COORDINATING COUNCIL PRESENTS ANNUAL “STATE OF THE CITIES” PROGRAM SET FOR THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26



The Palos Verdes Peninsula Coordinating Council presents the annual “State of the Cites” community program, Thursday, September 26, 12:00pm. Scheduled to speak are the Mayors of the four Peninsula Cities: Mayor of Palos Verdes Estates, Jim Goodhart; Mayor of Rancho Palos Verdes, Susan Brooks; Mayor of Rolling Hills, Frank Hill; and Mayor of Rolling Hills Estates, Frank Zerunyan. The program will be held from 12:00-1:10pm, in the Community Room of the Peninsula Center Library, 701 Silver Spur Road, Rolling Hills Estates. The program is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome! Reservations are necessary only for those who would like to pre-order a Bristol Farms box lunch for $10.00. Place your lunch order to Janet Wolfenden 310-544-8796 by noon Monday, September 24.

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Coordinating Council, formed in 1956, provides programs of interest to the community and publishes an updated CALENDAR of non-profit events as a service to the community. The CALENDAR is printed and distributed to members and is also available at www.palosverdes.com/cc . Palos Verdes Peninsula Coordinating Council programs are videotaped for broadcast on Cox cable channel 35 and RPV Channel 33. In addition, the PVP Coordinating Council provides an advertising opportunity through the BackPack Flyer program, in cooperation with the PVPUSD. PVP Coordinating members are able to advertise their children-related event flyers to all K-5 grade students during the school year for a small fee.

Membership in the PVP Coordinating Council is open to individuals and organizations. The membership fee supports the printing and mailing of the monthly CALENDAR and the annual Teen Service and Community Service Awards.
