This is the 4th annual Promenade on the Peninsula 5K Run/Walk. This ever-popular 5K runs directly through the beautiful Promenade on the Peninsula Mall and the picturesque canyon view street of Rolling Hills Estates. This race attracts Olympic caliber runners as well as scores of families and local friends.
Brian Reitmeier, local business owner of iBerries Frozen Yogurt, is the race director and he puts together a real first-class event for runners and spectators alike. He was quoted as saying his race is the "biggest little race in the south bay" because even this 5K is small in comparison to big named races, it has qualities and freebies equal to big named marathons.
