Skatepark PV, Inc., Beachsports.org and the City of Rolling Hills Estates, are offering a free skateboarding event on Saturday, May 5, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The location is Ernie Howlett Park, Rolling Hills Estates, located at 25851 Hawthorne Boulevard between Palos Verdes Drive North and Rolling Hills Road, . Bring your board and helmet and have four hours of non-stop skating.
The latest issue of Skateboarder Magazine with local pro Kenny Anderson on the cover, will be handed out. One lucky skater will get a free GIRL Skateboard deck.
Food trucks and local skateshop teams will be on hand. Lots of free giveaways. Last year we had many attendees who brought the whole family and made it a great outing. The park has playground equipment, bathrooms, water fountains, and wonderful lawns to stretch out on, and bleachers for viewing as well.
