Will You Watch the Royal Wedding?

Some residents plan to stay up for Friday's 1 a.m. live coverage of the British royal wedding, but most don't plan to miss any sleep for the occasion.

Live coverage of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding begins Friday at 1 a.m. Pacific Time–but that doesn't guarantee local households will stay up watching.

Patch asked South Bay residents if they plan on following the three-hour, dead of night live program. A few replied yes, but most said they would rather slumber.

"I'm just not interested enough to wake up that early to watch it," said Manhattan Beach resident Heather Uvanni, "But maybe I'll catch some clips after the fact."
