Dolphin deaths

Marine experts speculated as to since the beginning of the month. Some suspect domoic acid, a biotoxin found in algae blooms off the California coast. Anyone who sees an injured marine animal should stay away from that animal and call 800-39WHALE.

Redistricting in RPV

The Rancho Palos Verdes City Council to California Citizens Redistricting Commission, asking it to consider aligning the city of Rancho Palos Verdes with the northern coastal cities, generally west of the 110 and 405 freeways. Preliminary district lines are scheduled for completion sometime in June, with final redistricting in August.

New principal at PV High

Palos Verdes High School as its new principal next year in light of current Principal Chris Bowles' retirement.

Kid artists stand out

Students in exhibition at Rolling Hills Plaza's Wild Birds Unlimited. Idalis Trejo, 9, of Rancho Palos Verdes, and Sonia Reza, 16, of Palos Verdes Estates, have some great work featured in the show that runs through the end of April.
