  • "The Seals on the Bus" by Lenny Hort. A silly song based on "The Wheels on the Bus."
  • "The Lost Hero" by Rick Riordan. Exciting start of a new series by the author of "Percy Jackson."
  • "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton. Great book for teens, exciting sad and hopeful!

  • "The Postmistress" by Sarah Blake. The stories of a small Cape Cod postmistress and an American radio reporter stationed in London collide on the eve of the United State’s entrance into World War II, a meeting that is shaped by a broken promise to deliver a letter.
  • "Out Stealing Horses" by Per Petterson. After a meeting with his only neighbor, sixty-seven-year-old Trond is forced to reflect upon a long-ago incident that marks the beginning of a series of losses for Trond and his childhood friend, Jon.
  • "A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole. A New Orleans misanthrope, who rebukes society, gets a job at his mother's urging but ends up leading a worker's revolt.
