Connor O’Connell, Steve Alford and Steven Kuhna (Palos Verdes High)

O’Connell (photography), Alford (drawing) and Kuhna (photography) will head to the 32nd Annual Very Special Arts Festival on April 28.

David K. Tang-Quan (Peninsula High)

Tang-Quan has been named a semi-finalist in the 2011 U.S. Presidential Scholars program. David is now one of 560 semifinalists to advance to the final round of competition. From 3.2 million graduating high school seniors, approximately 3,000 students were identified as candidates in the program.

Michele Charles (Peninsula High)
