Rancho Palos Verdes TV Producer Speaks Out About Wife's Death

Bruce Beresford-Redman is interviewed from his Mexican prison cell on "48 Hours Mystery."

Ex-"Survivor" producer and Rancho Palos Verdes resident Bruce Beresford-Redman, who was in the 2010 death of his wife at a resort in Cancun, spoke out on a CBS show that aired Saturday, saying he didn't kill his wife.

He talked to "48 Hours Mystery" from his Mexican prison cell.

"Everyone seems to have decided that I killed my wife. I didn't kill my wife, I really didn't," he said.

The suspect's wife of 11 years, Monica, owned a Brazilian restaurant in Los Angeles. Her body was found in 2010 in a sewer cistern at the Cancun resort, according to an Associated Press report published in the Daily Breeze. Beresford-Redman, his wife and children went to the resort after Monica Beresford-Redman learned her husband was cheating on her, according to the report.
