PVDN, PVDE Intersection Fully Reopened

A traffic light will need to be replaced, so the intersection will function as a four-way stop in the interim.

The intersection of Palos Verdes Drive North and Palos Verdes Drive East was fully reopened Saturday afternoon, as Southern California Edison crews completed repairs to power lines and a utility pole that were damaged by a car collision Thursday morning.

An alert distributed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's Lomita Station reported that a traffic signal at the intersection will need to be replaced, and that stop signs will be installed in the interim.

"This should be completed some time Monday morning," the alert stated. "[...] Commuters are reminded to treat the intersection as a 4-way stop until the functionality of the traffic signals is restored."
