Peninsula Students Take 3rd in National CyberPatriots Competition

The high school team traveled to Washington, D.C. last week to compete.

's CyberPanther team placed third in a national cyber security contest last week in Washington, D.C.

Six students competed in the CyberPatriots challenge, including Miolani Grenier, Nick Entin, Patrick Lowe, Max Stritzinger, Justin Boisvert, and Russell Wakugawa. Members of the team, led by coach Hassan Twiet, each won $1,000 scholarships.

The games are were created by the United States Air Force Association as part of efforts to get students involved in STEM curriculum.
