Judge Rules to Extradite Beresford-Redman to Mexico

Rancho Palos Verdes resident Bruce Beresford-Redman may be extradited to Mexico to stand trial in the murder of his wife after a Federal judged today found probable cause at a hearing in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the judge did not allow Beresford-Redman’s 6-year-old daughter to testify and the U.S. Secretary of State will make the final decision on whether Beresford-Redman will be extradited.

Monica Beresford-Redman’s body was found in a waste water treatment tank after she had been suffocated during a family vacation to Cancun in April 2010. Beresford-Redman is a former “Survivor” TV show producer and remains in jail on a fugitive warrant.
