The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Sunday for the ninth time in 10 days, increasing seven-tenths of a cent to $3.66.
The average price is 4.4 cents more than one week ago but 8.1 cents less than one month ago and 5.2 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price rose for four consecutive days, was unchanged Tuesday and increased two-tenths of a cent Wednesday, a half-cent on Thursday, 1.7 cents on Friday and 1.1 cents on Saturday.
