Gas Prices Continue Slight Decline

The average price is 3.7 cents less than a week ago and 5.3 cents lower than one month ago but 24.6 cents more than one year ago.

The average price of gasoline in Los Angeles County declined today for the 13th time in 14 days, dropping a half-cent to $4.324 for a gallon of self-serve regular.

The average price is 3.7 cents less than a week ago and 5.3 cents lower than one month ago but 24.6 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has decreased 6.2 cents over the past 14 days, including six-tenths of a cent on both Monday and Tuesday.

The Orange County average price fell today for the 15th time in 16 days, decreasing seven-tenths of a cent to $4.299, 4.2 cents less than a week ago and 6.3 cents lower than one month ago but 23.2 cents more than one year ago.

The Orange County average price has decreased 7.2 cents over the past 16 days, including nine-tenths of a cent on Tuesday.
