Expect Traffic Delays on PV Drive South This Week
Rancho Palos Verdes officials warn residents of expected delays while the road is resurfaced.
Palos Verdes residents who normally travel on Palos Verdes Drive South should consider alternate routes this week, Rancho Palos Verdes officials said Tuesday, warning drivers of road work expected to cause traffic backups.
Resurfacing work near Schooner Drive and Conqueror Drive will cause "significant delays" on Palos Verdes Drive South, according to a city statement.
Travelers should expect delays 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, as well as 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.

"Motorists are encouraged to use alternate travel routes during these time periods if possible," city staff said in a statement.
