Deputies Arrest 4 Suspects in Rancho Palos Verdes Burglary

Four suspects were booked on suspicion of burglary after deputy sheriffs responded Friday to suspicious activity on Whitestone Drive.

Sheriff deputies responding to a call arrested four people Friday after finding signs of illegal entry into a Rancho Palos Verdes home.

Three of the suspects were spotted in a vehicle and the fourth, a woman matching the description given by the caller, was seen walking along the residence in the 27000 block of Whitestone Drive, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff Lomita Station advisory.

The deputies found narcotics, burglary tools and stolen property in the suspects' vehicle.

The four were booked on burglary and receiving stolen property. One suspect was also arrested on possession of a controlled substance. All were being held on $50,000 bail. Their names were not released "due to the ongoing investigation," the advisory states.

Detectives are seeking information on similar crimes. Any suspicious neighborhood activity should be reported to the Lomita Station or police.
