Avoid Fourth of July Traffic in Palos Verdes

Events in Rancho Palos Verdes and Palos Verdes Estates could tie up traffic in the area. Here's what to look out for Wednesday.

Palos Verdes residents and others throughout the South Bay Wednesday in search of and other July 4th festivities.

Though community events in Palos Verdes won't shut down nearby roads, residents can still avoid traffic tie-ups likely to occur near some of the biggest local gatherings.

Rancho Palos Verdes from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Point Vicente Park/Civic Center off Hawthorne Boulevard. A shuttle service will run between on Hawthorne Boulevard and the dirt lot adjacent to the Point Vicente Lighthouse on Palos Verdes Drive South.
