TIM A. SORENSON JOINS UNION BANK'S CONSUMER LENDING GROUP AS REGIONAL MANAGER

Union Bank, N.A. today announced that Tim A. Sorenson has joined its Retail Consumer Lending team as vice president and regional manager for the bank’s Residential Lending group based in Irvine.  He is responsible for the growth of residential lending throughout Orange County and South Bay Los Angeles.  Union Bank’s Consumer Lending group originates and services the bank’s loans to consumers, which includes residential mortgages.  Sorenson reports to Senior Vice President and Division Manager Jennifer Livingston.

 

“Tim brings tremendous industry knowledge as well as leadership experience to this position, which will enable us to continue to grow our retail mortgage lending organization,” said Livingston.  “Tim’s mortgage expertise as well as his dedication to client service will help us meet the needs of our clients who are looking to purchase or refinance a home throughout Orange County and the South Bay.”

Sorenson has 13 years of experience.  Before joining Union Bank, he served as a California regional manager and vice president with JP Morgan Chase.  Prior to that, Sorenson was a mortgage banking executive with Wachovia/World Savings.  He holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton.
