RPV Resident Wins Shopping Spree at Nordstrom Rack Opening
Rancho Palos Verdes resident Harriet Cox won the "Race through the Rack" sweepstakes during Thursday's grand opening in Redondo Beach.
Rancho Palos Verdes resident Harriet Cox raced in running shoes through Redondo Beach's new Thursday during the store's grand opening, taking advantage of her "Race through the Rack" sweepstakes win.
More than 500 people lined up outside the store in the South Bay Marketplace, anxious to start shopping and hoping to win a 90-second, $2,000 shopping spree.
Cox grabbed as many items as she could in 90 seconds.

"It was exhilarating," she told Redondo Beach Patch. "I haven't shopped so fast in my whole entire life."
