Gas Prices Fall for 28th Consecutive Day

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in L.A. County drops four-tenths of a cent to $4.207.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped four-tenths of a cent today to $4.207, the lowest amount since Feb. 23.

This marks the 28th consecutive day gas prices have declined.

The average price is 3.5 cents less than a week ago, 17.1 cents lower than one month ago and 1.7 cents below what it was one year ago, according to AAA.

The average price has decreased 15.5 cents over the past 28 days.

The Orange County average price also fell today for the 28th consecutive day, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $4.179, its lowest amount since Feb. 22.

The Orange County average price is 3.7 cents less than a week ago, 17.9 cents lower than one month ago and 3 cents below what it was one year ago. It has decreased 16.6 cents over the past 28 days, including three-tenths of a cent on Sunday.
