Free Froyo for National Frozen Yogurt Day

Yogurtland is handing out free frozen yogurt Monday afternoon to celebrate National Frozen Yogurt Day.

It's the second annual National Frozen Yogurt Day, and to celebrate, Yogurtland is giving away free frozen yogurt and toppings, as well as collector-edition biodegradable spoons and cups, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday.

There are no Yogurtland locations on the Palos Verdes Peninsula; however, the  Yogurtland at 271 Avenida del Norte in Redondo Beach's Riviera Village will be participating in the promotion while supplies last, an employee confirmed. There is also a Yogurtland at 1000 N. Western Ave. in San Pedro.

“National Frozen Yogurt Day allows us to thank our fans, and once again we look forward to serving them delicious yogurt with a wide range of toppings,” said Charlotte Lucich, director of marketing at Yogurtland. "This year we are proud to partner with Hershey’s to make National Frozen Yogurt Day a very sweet reward for our fans."
