Dunkin' Donuts to Open South Bay Stores

Dunkin' Donuts plans to open 45 stores in Southern California.

Dunkin' Donuts will open 45 stores in Southern California, including more than a dozen in the South Bay and Orange County, in 2015, according to a news release from the company.

The quick-serve doughnut-and-coffee company has signed agreements with four franchise groups to open the 45 new restaurants, Dunkin Donuts announced Thursday.

The 18 restaurants in central Orange County and the South Bay will be owned by Frontier Group. Ten additional restaurants will be developed in the Westside, including Santa Monica, Hollywood and Malibu; 16 restaurants will be built in central Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley; and an additional eatery will open in Barsow.

The only Dunkin Donuts restaurant in Southern California is located on the Camp Pendleton Marine Base.
