'Best Place for Serious Horsing Around' Is in PV

L.A. Weekly profiles Cowboy Boot Camp as part of its "Best of Los Angeles" issue.

It should come as no surprise that L.A. Weekly has declared a Palos Verdes business as the "best place for serious horsing around" in the magazine's annual Best of Los Angeles awards.

Cowboy Boot Camp, owned by Lori Barnett and Jim Moore, was founded in 2002 in Rolling Hills Estates and recently expanded to Burbank. The organization hosts clinics and seminars on various equestrian-related topics, such as clipping, bits and first aid.

"For an annual fee, Cowboy Boot Camp offers riding lessons, trail rides, clinics ... group activities and hanging-around time at its rugged yet lush seaside mountain property," writes L.A. Weekly.

Cowboy Boot Camp is located at 4 Sunnyfield Drive in Rolling Hills Estates. For more information, visit cowboybootcamp.net.
