RPVtv to Air Marathon of Huell Howser Show

Huell Howser, known for his show California's Gold, died Sunday night. He was 67.

In memory of the late Huell Howser, RPVtv will host a marathon of California's Green episodes from noon Friday through noon Sunday, according to Mark J. Doddy, station manager for RPVtv.

Howser, who died Sunday night at the age of 67, was the star of California's Gold; however, he also had a series called California's Green, which was aired on RPVtv (Cox Channel 33 and Verizon FiOS Channel 38).

California's Green focused on the environment and was sponsored by the Metropolitan Water District.

"Huell Howser was a TV icon throughout California as he covered people, places and things, often offbeat, and always interesting," wrote Doddy.
