PV Street Fair Attracts Thousands

The 25th annual Palos Verdes Street Fair and Music Festival offers fun for the whole family.

Thousands of people attended the first day of the 25th annual Palos Verdes Street Fair and Music Festival on Saturday.

Attendees browsed through booths, munched on funnel cakes and fried chicken, watched local groups perform on two stages, and took a whirl on numerous carnival rides.

The event, which is held on Norris Center Drive between the Peninsula Shopping Center and the Promenade of the Peninsula, will continue from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday. Free parking and a shuttle bus are available at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, located at the intersection of Hawthorne Boulevard and Silver Spur Road.
