PV Concours d'Elegance Begins This Weekend

The "Age of Elegance" is coming to Palos Verdes this weekend, and with it will come classic, post-war luxury and sports automobiles.

The Palos Verdes Roots Explored: 2013 Pleasure Road Rallye—a precursor to the annual Concours d'Elegance—will begin the weekend at the Rolling Hills Country Club in Rolling Hills Estates at 2 p.m. A reception will follow at the Palos Verdes Golf Club.


The event continues Sunday with the actual Concours d'Elegance at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes. This year's theme is "The Age of Elegance."

Cars on display will include eight iconic automobiles designed by event grand marshal Peter Brock.

The event will benefit the Palos Verdes Art Center and Palos Verdes Peninsula Rotary Foundation charities, including Harbor Area Boys & Girls clubs.
