Dance Peninsula Ballet's performances of "The Nutcracker" are scheduled this weekend at .
The community ballet shows on Friday and Saturday will feature guest artist Annia Hidalgo, in addition to Dance Peninsula Ballet's Artistic Director Roberto Almaguer. Both danced under the direction of Alicia Alonso, the artistic director of Ballet Nacional de Cuba.
The Christmas show, in its 23rd season, will also include performers from the community.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday, and 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday. Prices are $30 for adults and $18 for ages 17 and under. Call 310-544-0403 for tickets.
