Local Gallery Accepting Entries to Benefit Skatepark PV

PS Zask Gallery is looking for skate art entries to be featured in a November exhibition.

To help raise money for a skatepark on the Peninsula, PS Zask Gallery is looking for skate art entries to fill a November exhibit on skateboarding culture.

From now until Oct. 12, Zask Gallery will accept entries for pieces including skateboards, paintings, sculptures, video and more for "Off the Hook: An art exhibition of skate art to benefit Skatepark PV, Inc."

Those interested should send the entry form found here along with images of the work to pszask@gmail.com.

During the show's opening Nov. 5, Skatepark PV will receive 33.3 percent of proceeds from artwork sold. For the remainder of the exhibit, it will receive 20 percent of sales.

Artists will be notified by Oct. 16 of their acceptance into the show. The show will run from Nov. 5-19 at the PS Zask Gallery, Promenade on the Peninsula, 550 Deep Valley Drive, Suite 151, in Rolling Hills Estates.
