Wine Label Art Contest

ENTRIES SOUGHT FOR PALOS VERDES ART CENTER’S

WINE LABEL CONTEST

Entries are now being accepted for the Palos Verdes Art Center’s Wine Label contest to commemorate its 80th Anniversary. The entry deadline is Thursday, June 30, 2011. The contest features $2,000 in awards, including a $1,000 first prize. Contest is open to students, amateurs and professional artists. A prospectus containing the complete requirements and an entry form can be downloaded from: www.pvartcenter.org.

The contest is for the front or primary wine label that contains a graphic visual. The winning labels will be featured on wine bottle poured during the Art Center’s Anniversary year. Winners will be announced July 10, 2011.

Now in its 80th year, Palos Verdes Art Center, a non-profit community visual arts center,   has served the South Bay with visual arts exhibition, education and community outreach programs since 1931.
