Top Dogs Show

Calling All Dogs and Dog Lovers: ‘Top Dogs’ Show Is For You!

Dogs and dog lovers of all ages, shapes and sizes are invited to attend the Natural Balance Pet Foods 8th annual ‘Top Dogs’ Show on Saturday, June 9 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of  Commerce’s 25th Annual Street Fair and Music Festival presented by Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance. This fun-filled dog show is located under a big tent in the parking lot next to Spectrum Health Club at Norris Center (formerly Crossfield Drive) and Deep Valley Drives in Rolling Hills Estates.

This year’s Dick Van Patten’s Natural Balance Pet Foods Top Dogs Show is presented by Subaru Pacific. Natural Balance will be giving special prizes to the winners of each competition and hosting a Spin & Win booth at the fair to raise money for pet rescue and adoptions.

As usual, the Top Dogs Show promises to be great fun for kids, adults and dogs alike. The show will begin with a search and rescue dog demonstration by RPV Fire Station #106.

In addition to the “Athletes and Champions” costume contest, there will be contests for biggest and smallest dog, shortest tail, best singer, fastest-wagging tail, loudest barker, most-wrinkled dog, longest-haired dog, and rarest breed. The Best Trick Contest is always amazing and delightful to watch, as is the Dog & Owner Look-Alike Contest. The Top Dogs show will conclude with a Parade of Pets and Owners through the Street Fair venue, followed by a Pet Expo and pet adoptions all
weekend. Don’t forget, the Palos Verdes Street Fair and Music Festival is a dog-friendly event.
