Music Fair II - Historic Roots - A New Experience

The Peninsula Committee for the Los Angeles Philharmonic will present an outstanding program of classical, contemporary and ethnic music on Sunday, October 7, at Chadwick School.  Koshin Taiko Drums will open the event which will highlight a musician from the Los Angeles Philharmonic and feature Dr. Bobby Rodriguez and friends, Tesoro Mariachi, the Los Angeles Cello Quartet with Ruslan Biryukov, Garik Terzian, Hope Easton and Joon Sung Jun, and Soprano Jeannie Cobb (formerly Jean Gothold), accompanied by Dr. Pat Harpole.  The program will also feature Rising Stars, Clarinetist Andrew Moses, accompanied by Dr. Tania Fleischer, Flutist Stephanie Chou, accompanied by Michael Suchel, Pianist Isabella Ma and the Mini Maestro Trio.  Further details are available at (310) 318-8166 and www.pclaphil.org/music-fair-ii/.  Tickets are available at AMUSE Music Center and on the website.  Adult tickets purchased by September 20 are $45 and $50 after September 20.  Youth under 18 are $10.  Admission by bus only at Peninsula High School.
