HOLIDAY ORNAMENT WORKSHOP TO BE HELD AT PALOS VERDES ART CENTER
Bring the kids and enjoy a workshop creating keepsake tinwork ornaments for the holiday tree and garlands, Wednesday, November 30, 2011, 1:30pm-3:30pm, at the Palos Verdes Art Center / Beverly G. Alpay Center for Arts Education, at the Promenade on the Peninsula, 550 Deep Valley Drive, RH Estates. This workshop is presented by Art At Your Fingertips - a PV Art Center school-based outreach program bringing affordable visual arts education to elementary school classrooms from developmental kindergarten through sixth grade.
The workshop will be facilitated by artists Heather Howard. You are invited to drop in anytime during the two hour workshop. Parental supervision required – drop in, but don’t drop off! $5.00 per person – includes art supplies for two ornaments. Limited supplies – make your reservations to AAYF@cox.net by November 25, 2011 . The tinworks ornament workshop is based on the Art At Your Fingertips art project students enjoyed during the month of October.
